He Wants to Be Her Last Kiss #MySexySaturday #EroticRomance #Adventure

They face down ghosts, crave adventure, take risks without an afterthought--there's only one thing they're afraid of...love. Despite his fear, Josh stays with Bethany no matter where they travel because, at the end of the day, he's just a guy who wants to be near the woman of his dreams, even if she never knows how deeply she's imprinted on his heart.

The shark moved past them, out of reach, as if debating on whether or not they would make a nice lunch.

Both hands on her sides, he held her close and never looked away from her face. Even though she put up the badass-adventurer facade, he could see the fear dance in her eyes. Black hair flattened to her neck. He felt her heartbeat as he held her firmly against his chest. Their legs moved in unison to keep them upright against the push of the sea while her fingernails embedded themselves deep into his shoulders.

"We'll go down slow, non-threatening like—"

"Like he'll feel threatened by us?" she asked.

"Just like Barbados, okay?"

"Only without the rum punch waiting for us when we're done or the snipers on the boat ready to—"

"Shh..." He slammed his mouth against hers, feeling that if these were their final minutes on earth, he wanted to be her last kiss.

The Rules of Love by Morticia Knight #AuthorInterview #EroticRomance

Be prepared for a heat wave...Morticia Knight is here! Strap on your strap-ons or whatever else makes you happy *snicker* and enjoy the interview followed by an X-Rated excerpt of her new release.
18+Content--If you're underage, turn back now. Don't make me get the whip out.

Can you begin by telling us about your new release?

The Rules of Love is the 2nd book in The Hampton Road Club series. It’s an M/M BDSM romance set in the era of the 1920’s. The Club is located near Los Angeles, so a bit of Hollywood seeps into the stories. The men who attend the elegant club not only have to lead secret lives because they’re gay, but because they enjoy sadomasochism. Fortunately, all my men get their well-deserved Happily-Ever-Afters ;-)

What inspired this story idea?

I have a 7 book series entitled Gin & Jazz that is an epic telling of a young Jack’s journey from obscurity and poverty to the heights of riches and silent film stardom. Along the way he loses loves, finds it - then finally learns what true love is and what’s really important. Book 5, Studio Orders, features the head of the Jack’s studio and his ex-chauffeur. As it happens, studio chief belongs to the Hampton Road Club.

The club was more of a backdrop in that book, but there was one side character, Saul, who needed a story and many people asked what the club was all about. In Studio Orders, the MC’s never actually go to the club – it’s only referred to.

Did a lot of research go into it?

Oh my, yes. Before I ever began Book 1 of Gin & Jazz (Hollywood Bound) I spent 2 months researching the era – the slang, fashion, economics, transportation – even such things as whether refrigerators were in use yet. (hint: they’d only just begun to be used, but only the rich could afford them. They cost about half as much as a Model T)

This was back in the summer of 2013, but I still research that era to this day. I’m working on book 4 of Hampton Road right now, and I just had to look up whether the term ‘slick back’ (For a man’s greasy combed back hair - they used an oil called Brilliantine, or Vaseline if they were poorer) was one word or two. It’s two.

Care to share some of your favorite lines from the novel?

(Saul commenting on the newness of their relationship) “Nothing unknown is ever

simple. It has to be revealed before you can understand it.”

(Saul reassuring Kenneth that he hasn’t failed him during a BDSM scene) “There now. I’m not disappointed in you and we’re going to reclaim your pleasure together. That belongs to you and you belong to me. Therefore, I want my pleasure back too.”

Do you feel that you can relate to one character in this book more than the others? If so, why?

I relate to aspects of each one, but the unifying theme between them would be how much they want to love and be loved in an all-encompassing way. I think that’s one of the biggest attractions of BDSM – the deep trust and bond that has to exist between two partners.

What is your writing space like? Do you need quiet or do you prefer background noise?

It’s a huge mess! I’m not one of those authors where someone can come in and take a phot of my work area – it would turn into a Hoarders episode. I just never have enough time to keep up with all the filing. The Post-it note story ideas are the worst of it.

I have to have music going – preferably driving electronica or soundtrack beats. Otherwise, I ned up power napping at the computer.

What is the most daring thing or experience that you've done that you wouldn't mind sharing with us?

There’s probably a few because I tend to do dumb things, but I’ll go with the white water rafting trip I took on the Snake River in Wyoming. And yes – I grabbed the chicken rope in the middle of the raft.

Is there a motto/wisdom in life that you live by? Or a favorite inspirational quote?

There are many by Thoreau and Ralph Waldo Emerson that I love, but I’m alos a sucker for Galadriel’s line from The Fellowship of the Ring:

“Even the smallest person can change the course of the future.”

The Rules of Love (The Hampton Road Club 2)

Release Date: February 6th, 2015
Publisher: Totally Bound
Genre: M/M Historical BDSM
Cover Artist: Posh Gosh
Series Blurb:
Welcome to the Hampton Road Club. It’s the 1920’s and men who enjoy Dominance and submission have to be very careful that their dark desires aren’t discovered. The exclusive and secret Hampton Road Club near Hollywood is one of many private homes around the world that offers facilities for those who practice sadism and masochism. Meet the men who search for love amongst the world of bondage, whips and chains. This is where a Master can find a submissive to cherish forever and a submissive can give himself to his Master for a lifetime of painful pleasure.

Rules of Love Blurb:

Master Saul is captivated by the beautifully submissive Kenneth and the boy’s love of pain. Unfortunately, Kenneth belongs to Master Preston.

It’s 1926, and as one of the founding members of the Hampton Road Club, Master Saul Liebowitz has enjoyed the charms of many willing submissives over the years. One of the newer submissives to the club has captured his attention more than anyone has in a long time. Kenneth is tall, muscular and also seems to have a greater love of pain than most. If only Kenneth didn’t already belong to another Master.

After Kenneth’s Master died years before, he allowed himself to be taken in by the promises of Master Preston. As time has gone by, Preston has become increasingly crueler to the point where Kenneth fears for his life. They’ve recently joined a sadomasochism club and Kenneth can’t help but yearn for the handsome Master the other boys speak so highly of – Master Saul.

Preston takes things too far one night, and when Saul and his good friend, Master Aaron do some investigating, they realize that Kenneth might be in real danger. Amidst turmoil at the club over whether there should be rules to keep the boys safe and Preston’s play for power, Saul searches for a way to save Kenneth from what he’s sure is a deadly situation.

Both men fight for what they believe to be the right thing. When they find their way to one another, a wonderful new world opens up for them together. But there’s one man out there who refuses to let go of the old ways. Kenneth is his property and Master Preston won’t give him up.

Reader Advisory: Contains scenes of violence and dubious consent.
Although part of a series best read in sequence, this can be read as a standalone.

X-Rated Excerpt:

He groaned with pleasure as Saul massaged his shoulders. The tenderness of his touch was in sharp contrast to the brutality of his blows. It was exactly how Kenneth had pictured being Saul’s submissive would be like. Except he still didn’t understand why he’d stopped, when Kenneth hadn’t asked him to.
The oil slicked the way for Saul’s fingers to slide along his skin, loosening his aching muscles that had been pulled taut in their restraints. Saul paid special attention to his overtaxed limbs and avoided his abused back.
“Are you with me still?”
“Yes, Sir.”
“Do you feel everything I’m doing to you?”
He was back to being confused. “Yes. Absolutely, Sir.”
Saul kept soothing with his hands. He was no longer massaging, but stroking, caressing.
“Did you feel everything my whip did to you?”
“Yes, Sir. I did.”
“How many lashes did I give you?”
“I…”
His breath caught in his throat. He hadn’t the faintest idea. It could’ve been ten or it could’ve been a hundred. Ronald had taught him that it was okay to drift off as the pain enveloped him. He’d said it was like the breaker in the ocean—once he got past that point, he’d be all right. He’d float away.
When Preston had been the one to inflict the pain, Kenneth had learned to immediately force himself into that state as protection against the agony that Preston always thrust on him. He’d never build up to anything. He would tear into him right away. The vitriol he’d hurl at him ruined any pleasure he could’ve gotten from the act. It had been easier to simply retreat into his head.
“You have no idea then?”
“I-I’m sorry, Sir. I don’t.”
Tears filled his eyes as the certainty came over him that Preston had ruined one of the main things he’d always enjoyed. Kenneth had assumed that once he was with Saul, he would immediately fall back into the way it had been when he’d been lovingly beaten by Ronald.
“It’s going to be all right, dear Kenneth.” Saul kissed the back of his neck, licked behind his ear, then nibbled on the lobe. He never stilled his hands as he loved on him. “You told me you enjoy having your cock punished, your sac?”
“Yes, Sir, I do.” He frowned again, frustration overtaking him. “At least, I did at one time.” His tone had been hostile and he immediately regretted it. He waited for a reprimand that never came.
“There, there. Do you trust me?”
“God, yes.” His voice hitched as a sob poured out. “I do, Sir.”
“Good boy. Let’s get you cleaned up. I’ll be applying some bandages to the one spot on your back that opened up, then we’ll be going to the ballroom for a demonstration. I’ll tell Aaron to let everyone know.”
“I don’t want anyone to think you mistreated me.”
“Hush now. You said you trusted me.”
Saul had been helping him to sit up and he bowed his head. It was rare that Saul ever requested that he keep his gaze lowered. It had only been when he was specifically working with him on something. He’d also explained that he might ask for it at the club at times when they were mingling with the others. Other than that, he’d told Kenneth that he’d rather see his beautiful eyes.
“Lift your head so I can see you.”
He did as he’d been told. There’d been no time to hide his shame.
“There now. I’m not disappointed in you and we’re going to reclaim your pleasure together. That belongs to you and you belong to me. Therefore, I want my pleasure back too.”
Kenneth’s lip quivered. All he wanted was Saul. “Sir, I need your kiss. Please.”
Saul cupped the back of his head then pulled him close. He opened up for his lover immediately, and they tangled their tongues, tasting and licking. Saul captured Kenneth’s bottom lip between his teeth and tugged on it, scraping it then demanding entrance to his mouth with his tongue once more.
When Saul broke their connection, Kenneth noted that he was hard, his balls filled and aching. The tip of his cock was beaded with moisture and he wanted to ask Saul to lap it up the way he had the day before. He’d teased Kenneth by taking only that small offering from his slit then stopping. Then he’d blown on his dick, watching as it twitched and bobbed, waiting for the next bit of pre-cum. Again he’d suck that portion and wait for the next until Kenneth had been ready to scream. As soon as Saul had finished leading him to that glorious precipice over and over, all it had taken was Saul telling him to come then blowing on his tip for him to shoot so hard it had hurt.
“I know what you’re thinking, boy.”
Kenneth jerked his head up in response. “How can I help it, Sir?” Saul’s expression was one of mirth and Kenneth was reassured—the way he was on a daily basis—that Saul was a decent and good human being. Kenneth had found treasure the day he’d spotted him for the first time. If he could ever be grateful to Preston for anything, it would be that he’d brought him to Saul.

Morticia Knight Bio

M/M Erotic Romance author Morticia Knight enjoys a good saucy tale – after all, who doesn’t? Since she loves several genres, you may find your heroes in a contemporary, historical, paranormal or sci-fi setting. One of her passions is bringing people's fantasies to life on the page, because life is too short for even one boring moment. Her stories are volcanic in heat, deep in emotion, and sprinkled with doses of humor.

When not indulging in her obsession for books, she loves the outdoors, film and music. The Pacific Northwest is the ideal spot to enjoy both hiking and beachcombing. Once upon a time she was the singer in an indie rock band that toured the West Coast and charted on U.S. college radio. She now resides on the northern coast of Oregon, where the constant rain and fog remind her of visits to family in England and Scotland when she was a child.

She is currently working on the Sin City Uniforms Series and a BDSM spin-off to the Gin & Jazz series entitled The Hampton Road Club. A follow-up to Bryan and Aubrey’s story in Rockin’ the Alternative will also be available in 2015 through Totally Bound Publishing.

He yanked her hard against his chest before falling backward onto the mattress. "Promise me that when you come back to LA, when we go on a real date where I pick you up and bring you flowers and all of that wannabe boyfriend stuff, promise me we'll still be like this with each other."
Sprawled on his chest, she twisted her fingers into the hair that curled over his ears and looked down into his face. "No, I won't promise that."
"No?" He frowned.
"I'm kind of a mess right now, but when I go back to LA, I'll be ready for you and all of your wannabe boyfriend stuff. I can promise you that it will be better than this."
He arched an eyebrow. "Better than amazing?"
"Yeah." She laughed at his definition of amazing because he'd been dealing with a ghost and her wicked mood swings. "If you think this is amazing, I don't have much work to do as a wannabe girlfriend wanting to impress the wannabe boyfriend. I'll blow your mind."
"Wannabe girlfriend?" He nipped her chin. "That's the nicest thing you've ever said to me."
