She moved her mouth against his with a laziness meant to savor the sensation. She hoped she'd never get used to the energy that zapped between his skin and hers.

"What did you used to do here when you were a teenager?" he asked against her mouth, eyes alive with knowing.

"A little bit of this and that."

"A little of this?" His tongue slid between her parted lips—teasing—before he slid his mouth down the length of her neck.

"Mm...hm."

"And a little of that?" He moved his hands to her bare thighs beneath the dress and squeezed. "Am I close?"

"You're getting closer." She grabbed his face and ground her mouth against his. If he wanted to fool around on a rock, why the hell not?

Coming Alive Through the Eyes of Love #Paranormal #EroticRomance #MSS83

"Sexy Me Up" is the theme for My Sexy Saturday--when a character who may not see themselves as sexy or beautiful or worth loving comes alive in their lover's eyes. Or at least that's how I interpreted it. Below we have 7 paragraphs from the paranormal erotic romance, Blurred Lines.

Whatever joy he'd felt during the day had been eclipsed by dread. Maybe they had had their share of arguments, and, yes, he'd come here with ulterior motives. He hadn't intended to feel so connected with her, though, and didn't want her 'people' thinking he was a bastard.

"This sounded a lot better when it was just the two of us talking in the cabin. Out here in the real world—"

"People will avoid me, Alex. I lost a lot of friends after Shane's murder. If we happen to see anyone tonight—if they stop by our table to say hello—it won't be because they give a damn about me. I'm just a curiosity now, a freak from Los Angeles who writes some television show and has it all figured out. I mean it. Don't worry. If anything, they'll all feel sorry for you for having to deal with me."

"You might be wrong," he whispered, suddenly understanding her nerves for going out with the older couple. She wasn't afraid of being seen with him; she was afraid of being seen.

"It doesn't matter. I'm fine. We said we needed a night out so here we are, having a night out." She glanced at him before turning into the parking lot of a strip mall where more cars than he'd expected sat in front of a well-lit bar.

Once parked, he grabbed her hand and pulled her toward him for a kiss. When their lips met, the dread that had settled in his heart lifted.

To hell with the ghost and the people from her past who judged her, Sierra Daniels was the most impressive woman—no, person—he'd ever known and he'd be damned if he'd allow her to hide away any longer.

Blurb...

Only the good die young. When Shane Weston is murdered before prosecuting a key member of the Mexican drug cartel, he can't accept the idea that all of the plans he had had for his life will never come true. More than that, he can't let go of the love he has for his fiancée.

Love never dies. Sierra Daniels is crushed after Shane's death. Head writer on a successful television series, she can't get back into the groove of life. All enthusiasm for work is gone. Ready to quit everything, she travels to her cabin in Lake Tahoe in hopes of escaping everyone's expectations and disappearing for a while.

The lines between right and wrong often blur. Alexander Blaine has risked his future on a career change from DEA agent to lead consultant and writer on hit television series. Sierra's grief has shadowed everyone around her, including him, and jeopardizes both of their careers. Unwilling to accept defeat, he follows her to Lake Tahoe determined to break through the barrier enveloping her and make her see that life is still worth living.

Letting go is like a death. Sierra never thought she would be caught in a love triangle between her writing partner, Alex, and the love of her life, Shane—especially because her ex-fiancé is now a ghost. Tormented with both guilt for moving on with someone else and a desire to be free of the past, she's into the gray area of right, wrong, life, death, ghosts, dreams—the part of life where all the lines are blurred.
